Animal Rescue Charity Work

Did you know our very own Dr. Bolfer is also one of the volunteer chief pilots for Pilots N Paws? Pilots N Paws is a non-profit organization that brings together volunteer pilots and animal rescue organizations to transport rescue animals, including dogs, cats, and other animals, via aircraft to new homes, foster families, or rehabilitation facilities. Dr. Bolfer helps give innocent animals a second chance for a better life.

The organization has made a significant impact on animal rescue efforts by speeding up the process of getting animals to safety and new homes. It also helps reduce the stress on overcrowded shelters.

“Pilots N Paws” is a heartwarming example of the aviation community joining forces with animal rescue organizations. Together they make a “pawsitive” difference in the lives of sheltered animals. Dr. Bolfer has saved hundreds of animals since volunteering. Check out these adorable pictures of the rescued pups and their new families!

A flight with some very precious cargo: a mother dog and her three puppies. They were first under the care of Florence Lauderdale Animal Services in Alabama, but the shelter was full and could not take them in. A foster family was located to take care of the mother and pups, who were just newborns at the time.
